About Zephyr

In April of 2024 Zephyr Float was acquired by Veronica Sedda, a friend and co-worker of the original owner Olga Schoonmaker. Veronica, with the help of her partner Rick, is intent on continuing the Zephyr Float legacy as a place where their clients feel relaxed and at home. We are deeply committed to creating a sense of community and well being with our clients and our neighbors, by providing healthy, relaxing and beneficial services to all those who enter our doors. Zephyr Float exists to provide scientifically proven methods to reduce the power of stress over the human body, alleviate chronic pain and better oneself through introspective learning in an accessible manner to all those who seek it.

Where did the name Zephyr come from?

Zephyr was the Greek god of the west wind, which was considered the gentlest wind.  The warm west wind indicated the coming spring season awaking the Earth after winter. Even today the name of the god is used to indicate a warm and light breeze.
